Lions start off with the ball
Quarter 1-
Lions run the ball heavily and eventually come to 4th and 1/goal fake a field goal and scores with Jason Campbell,
Saints run the ball with little to no progress relying on Vick coming to 3rd down he throws INT on the run.
Lions get the ball back and decide to switch playcalling up a bit throwing occationally resulting in INT.
7-0
Quarter 2-
Saints run the ball and get it down inside the 10, Vick throws another INT.
Lions get the ball and dont do much end up punting.
Saints roll back down field this time resulting in a 5 yard TD throw to J.Urban.
Lions get the ball and try the 2 min drill they start off sucessful but end up getting sacked on 3rd and 20 they fumble the ball.
After the fight for the ball Saints recoved the fumble with only 0:04 left in the 2nd they opt to try the deep field goal and miss.
HALFTIME
7-7
Quarter 3-
Saints have the ball and end up punting.
Lions slowly move the ball into Saint territory resulting in a FG.
Saints control the ball and run with both RBs Willie Parker and Steven Jackson they take it down to the 1 yard line, Vick QB sneaks and gets a rushing TD.
14-10
Quarter 4-
Lions continue to run the ball Turner takes it to Saint territory but Matt Ryan cant convert on 3rd resulting in another FG.
Saints once again get the ball and continue their rushing attack slowly taking time off the clock Steven Jackson scores 2 yard TD.
This is where the Lions switch up play calling throwing the ball down field a couple times occationally screening then rushing the ball to waste the clock, during this time they used all their T.O. they end up scoring on a 7yard TD run by Michael Turner. They find themselves in a situation to go for 2 pts. Saints deny the 2 pt convertion.
Saints get the ball on the onside kick and down the ball to end the game.
